Program Description

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BS ES) is an undergraduate degree program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the natural environment and the impact of human activities on it. This interdisciplinary program combines various scientific disciplines such as biology, chemistry, ecology, earth science, and physics to analyze environmental processes, monitor environmental quality, and develop solutions to environmental problems.

Graduates of BSES have diverse career opportunities across various sectors. They can work as environmental specialists, environmental impact assessors, or consultants and may also pursue roles as marine biologists, ecologists, conservation officers, sustainability consultants, and academicians. Additional options include positions as pollution control officers/regulatory inspectors, policy analysts, waste management officers, laboratory or field analysts, and park rangers. While many roles require only a bachelor's degree, some may necessitate further education or certifications. The interdisciplinary training equips graduates with essential skills to address critical environmental challenges and contribute to sustainability efforts.

A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) program should have the ability to:
