A. STRAIGHT DEGREE/ENGINEERING PROGRAM (4 - YEAR COURSES)
For K - 12 Graduates, Transferees, and HS Old Curriculum Graduates

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Senior High School Graduates/ HS Old Curriculum Graduates
    1. Passed the written TUP Scholastic and Technical Aptitude Test (TUPSTAT) and oral test
    2. With good moral character
    3. Physically and mentally fit
    4. Have met the prescribed admission requirements for the program/course Applied for
       
  2. Transferees (Within the TUP System)
    1. Endorsement from the Admissions Office
    2. With Good Scholastic Records
    3. With Good Moral Character
    4. Certification of Available slot from the Department
       
  3. Transferees (From other schools)
    1. Certificate of Transfer Credentials
    2. With Good Scholastic Records (No Failing Grades)
    3. With Good Moral Character
    4. Certification of Available slot from the Department
    5. Have met the prescribed admission requirements or the program/course applied for

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCESEP-T)

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSMESEP-T)
  1. For SHS STEM graduates with no grade lower than 80% in Mathematics, Science, English, and GPA
  2. For Non-STEM tracks with at least 85% grade in Mathematics, Science, and English, and will take bridging program embedded in the curriculum
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT-T)
  • Bachelor of Science in Information System (BSIS-T)
  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSESSDP-T)
  1. For SHS STEM graduates with at least 80% GPA in Mathematics, Science, and English
  2. For Non-STEM tracks with at least 85% GPA in Mathematics, Science, and English and will take bridging program
  • BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY (BET) COURSES
  • BET Major in Automotive Technology (BETAT-T)
  • BET Major in Chemical Technology (BETChT-T)

    Major in Architecture Technology (BGTAT-T)
  • BACHELOR OF TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL TEACHER EDUCATION
  • BTVTE Major in Electrical Technology (BTVTEdET-T)
  • BTVTE Major in Electronics Technology (BTVTEdElxT-T)
  • BTVTE Major in Information and Communication Technology (BTVTEdICT-T)
  1. Open to all SHS STEM graduates with at least 80% GPA
  2. For Non-STEM tracks and Transferees with at least 85% GPA in Mathematics, Science, and English and will take bridging program

B.  LADDERIZED DEGREE PROGRAM
For Graduates of the 3-Year engineering Technology of the TUP System

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR LADDERIZED DEGREE COURSES

COURSES ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE-LEP)
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE-LEP)
  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE-LEP)
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME-LEP)
  1. Must pass the Engineering Aptitude Test and Department’s Evaluation;
  2. Must be a 3-Year Engineering Technology Course Graduate of the TUP-System, for Non-TUP System Graduate, former school’s curriculum must be the same with TUP
    2.1   Must have a GPA of 2.25 of higher
    2.2   If GPA is lower than 2.25;
            a. Must have NO failing grade, and;
            b. Must have one year work experience in the area of 
                specialization he/she wants to pursue;
  3. Must be physically fit;
  4. Must be of good moral character.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE-LEP)
  • Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology (BTIT-LDP)
  1. Must be a 3-Year Engineering Technology Course Graduate of the TUP-System,for Non-TUP System Graduate, former school’s curriculum must be the same with TUP;
  2. Must be physically fit;
  3. Must be of good moral character;
  4. Must have one year work experience in the area of specialization or currently employed.
  • Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education (BTTE-LDP)
  1. Must pass the Engineering Aptitude Test and Department’s Evaluation;
  2. Must be a 3-Year Engineering Technology Course Graduate of the TUP-System, for Non-TUP System Graduate, former school’s curriculum must be the same with TUP
    2.1   Must have a GPA of 2.25 of higher;
    2.2   If GPA is lower than 2.25;
            a. Must have NO failing grade, and;
            b. Must have one year work experience in the area of 
                specialization he/she wants to pursue;
  3. Must be physically fit;
  4. Must be of good moral character.
  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES-LDP)
  1. Must be a 3-Year Engineering Technology Course Graduate of the TUP-System,for Non-TUP System Graduate, former school’s curriculum must be the same with TUP;
    a. Must have GPA of 2.5 or higher
    b. Must pass entrance exam
    c. If GPA is lower than 2.5;
         c.1.  Must have no failing grade/s in major subjects/s;
  2. Must be physically fit;
  3. Must be of good moral character
